menstrualmigraine

Do you suffer from menstrual migraines (a headache that comes right before or during Aunt Flow?). This could be due to several reasons:

Hormone fluctuations.  Typically I see this in patients who have a sudden drop in progesterone or a lack of progesterone.  Both can trigger a migraine.  This is why doing comprehensive lab work to determine the cause is important.

Increased inflammation.  This could be due to various reasons including increased estrogen, increased insulin or even dehydration.

If you are popping Excedrin during your menstrual cycle this is NOT normal.  Let’s get to the root of why you are having these headaches so you can get rid of them forever!
