Hormonal IUD vs. Copper IUD

Did you know there are different forms of IUD’s?  If so, did you know the differences between them and their mechanisms of action?

My best tip is that IUD’s DO NOT fix your period.  So, if you have an IUD inserted for the sake of ‘fixing’ your period that’s not what an IUD is meant to be used for.  If you don’t want to make a baby, then great!
