Erin Ellis

I grew up an Army brat--a daughter of a now retired Colonel in the U.S. Army.  Although an Arizona native, I grew up outside of Washington D.C. and spent most of my younger years living in Virginia and Missouri.

In 1992, I finally was able to call Arizona my home where I attended high school and received my Bachelor’s degree in business from Arizona State University.

My pre-doctor work life consisted of restaurant management, bartending and serving for nearly 20 years, but life quickly changed in my early 30s.

In 2010 I was diagnosed with a rare form of Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma at age 31.  I never thought in a million years I would have been diagnosed with cancer at such a young age, but it was the turning point in my life.  To say I was scared was an understatement, but it honestly was the defining moment in my life.  I always wanted to be a doctor, but gave up on those dreams because I was sick of being in school, and instead worked in the bar and restaurants, but always knew I could do and be more.  After 6 rounds of chemotherapy, a positive attitude with a side of determination and sass I became a survivor.

Receiving this diagnosis and kicking its butt gave me the drive, the motivation and determination to get out of my own way and become that doctor that I always wanted to be.  Not only did it give me my defining purpose in life, but I learned a lot about myself and really how strong I truly was.  Having had a cancer diagnosis at such a young age, my mission and passion now is to empower those to take control of their health now before it is too late.  This diagnosis proved to me that life is too short to feel sub-optimal and given the right tools, your body has the innate ability to heal itself.

After graduation from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2017, I worked at a naturopathic urgent care in N. Scottsdale seeing medical cases ranging from acute to chronic and seen in pediatrics to geriatrics.  After 2.5 years, I decided to branch out on my own and spread the modalities of Naturopathic Medicine to the East Valley where I find my passion to be helping those boss women, those boss moms or highly ambitious, goal-driven women and addressing the root cause of why they are constantly running on empty, have hormone imbalance or can’t lose weight despite exercising and eating clean.

When I’m not empowering others to become the best versions of themselves, I spend my time helping my community, spending time with my dogs, enjoying game nights with family and friends and making new memories with my Fireman.

Root Cause Detective

Sick and tired of feeling sick and tired?  As a Naturopathic Physician, I function as a fully functional primary care physician.  I specialize in chronic illness (EBV and Lyme disease), chronic fatigue, woman's hormones, thyroid and adrenal health.  I get to the root cause of your health concerns.

Naturally Focused

Restoring your health all begins with comprehensive lab work to determine the root cause of your health concerns.  From there, I provide naturally focused treatment options, including IV therapy, Acupuncture/Cupping, Detoxification therapies, Diet/Nutrition counseling and many nutraceuticals.

Restore Your Health

With a comprehensive look at your health history a great amount of time is spent developing a treatment protocol specific to your body's needs.  By giving your body what it needs, you have the innate ability to heal yourself.

About Naturopathic Medicine

As a Naturopathic Doctor, I incorporate the 6 Naturopathic Principles to support the body's own ability to heal rather than a temporary fix in symptoms and/or disease process.

  • Do No Harm:  utilizing the most natural, least invasive and least toxic therapies
  • Identify & Treat the Cause:  comprehensive and speciality lab testing to look beyond the symptoms to the underlying cause
  • Treat the Whole Person: view the body as an integrated whole in all its physical and spiritual dimension
  • The Healing Power of Nature:  trust the body's inherent wisdom to heal itself
  • Physician as Teacher: educate the steps to achieving and maintaining optimal health
  • Prevention: focus on overall health, wellness and disease prevention
